For the 60th anniversary of the debut of the Porsche 911, the car maker filmed a grand commercial to celebrate. But now they are apologizing for being woke and stupid.
Porsche made a cool video showing its 911 cruising through notable spots around the world to show the history of the great car.
But as Twitter user Alex B. posted, the car maker also added a bit of another kind of magic to their commercial.

The 92-foot-tall statue, Christo Rei, has been standing on Lisbon since 1959 and represents Lisbon’s gratitude to God for having spared them the horrors of World War Two.

The car maker eventually “apologized” for telling Christians that Porsche does not want them as customers.
The car maker called the erasure of Jesus a “mistake.”
The company did not actually apologize very much, though. They just called it a “mistake” and then uploaded a new video with the statue intact.
“In a previously-uploaded version of the 911 S/T launch film, a landmark was removed. This was a mistake, and we apologise for any offence caused. The original film is online now,” the company said according to the Daily Mail.
