As the world continues to bear witness to the abject horrors of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, experts and analysts have been attempting to decode Vladimir Putin’s numerous nonsensical justifications for the conflict.
At first, the Russia President suggested that he was seeking to “denazify” the Ukrainian government, which is helmed by a Jewish descendent of Holocaust victims.
Then there were brief talks about Ukraine’s potential nuclear ambitions, (that don’t exist), or their attempts to join NATO or the EU – neither of which are legitimate.
Now, however, it appears as though Putin has let the cat out of the bag, admitting that the plan is to retake territories that belonged to Russia in former periods of history.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided that he is destined to “return and strengthen territories”.

The Moscow madman’s statements were troubling, to say the least.
“It would seem that he (Peter I – ed.) fought with Sweden, took something away… He didn’t take anything away. He returned… The same goes in the western direction, it concerns… his first campaigns there. What were you afraid of? He returned them, strengthened them. That’s what he did.
We also had to return and strengthen. If we assume that these core values are the basis of our existence, we have certainly succeeded in solving the challenges we face…
Russia will not step on the same rake as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, its economy will remain open.”
This narrative jibes with the accidental revelation that Putin is eyeing Moldova as his next target, which was discovered after photographs of a Russian battle map showed troops in that sovereign nation as well.
