With J6 Hearings Looming, DHS Issues Bulletin Regarding ‘Extremism’

Our nation is hotly divided these days, in a way that we haven’t seen since the war between the states, and there are renewed fears of political or ideological violence rising up in the coming months.

Much of this division stems from the false dichotomy of the two party system fueling our political differences, with the mainstream media cheerleading the entire egregious system in the pursuit of ratings and advertising dollars.  Later this week, for instance, a former ABC television executive will help to produce the January 6th select committee’s first public hearing, which could very well be an attempt to imbue some bombast on the occasion.

With all of this looming just over the horizon, the Department of Homeland Security is urging Americans to prepare for turbulence ahead.

he Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin Tuesday warning of a “heightened threat environment” over the next several months as they monitor both risks of domestic terrorism and foreign adversaries looking to sow discord within the U.S. to promote acts of violence.

“The United States remains in a heightened threat environment, as noted in the previous Bulletin, and several recent attacks have highlighted the dynamic and complex nature of the threat environment,” DHS said in a new bulletin from the National Terrorism Advisory System.

“In the coming months, we expect the threat environment to become more dynamic as several high-profile events could be exploited to justify acts of violence against a range of possible targets,” DHS said.

And then…

“Threat actors have recently mobilized to violence due to factors such as personal grievances, reactions to current events, and adherence to violent extremist ideologies, including racially or ethnically motivated or anti-government/anti-authority violent extremism,” DHS said.

The department stressed that “foreign adversaries—including terrorist organizations and nation state adversaries—also remain intent on exploiting the threat environment to promote or inspire violence, sow discord, or undermine U.S. democratic institutions.”

“We continue to assess that the primary threat of mass casualty violence in the United States stems from lone offenders and small groups motivated by a range of ideological beliefs and/or personal grievances,” the bulletin said.

America’s political morass may very well turning deadly, and those who benefit most from this horrific reality appear to be ready to throw fuel on the fire via the media.
