Facebook Bans Group Trying to Organize Canada-Style Trucker Convoys in U.S.A.

The following article, Facebook Bans Group Trying to Organize Canada-Style Trucker Convoys in U.S.A., was first published on .

Leftist Big Tech gatekeepers Facebook is working to squash any outbursts of the First Amendment in the U.S. by shutting down any chance that a trucker convoy like that in Canada might rise here.

A popular Facebook group that American truckers were using to try and organize a convoy like the one in Canada was shut down by Facebook.

The group called “Convoy to DC 2022,” had more than 130,000 members when Facebook summarily deleted it on Wednesday, according to Fox News:

Jeremy Johnson, who set up the Facebook group, said his personal account was also removed, prompting him to contact a civil rights attorney to discuss the next steps.

“They like to silence people that speak the truth,” Johnson said of his Facebook ban.

A spokesperson for Facebook’s parent company, Meta, provided this statement to Fox News: “We have removed this group for repeatedly violating our policies around QAnon.” In October 2020, Facebook labeled QAnon a “violence-inducing conspiracy network” and announced group pages and admins tied to QAnon will be removed.

Brian Brase, co-organizer of the event, blasted Facebook for the way it handled it all.

According to Brase, the social media giant gave them no warnings, offered them no chances to remove any content that was supposedly forbidden, and also completely wiped the accounts of several moderators just because they were part of the group!

Once again, we see that Big Tech targets mostly conservative leaning users and marks them for deletion for no cause whatsoever other than that they are conservatives.
