It may be one of the most sought after answers in all of American politics:  Will Donald Trump be running for President again in 2024.

The Democrats are furiously trying to stop him from jumping back into the fray, largely through the efforts of the select committee investigating January 6th.  The group has been clearly hellbent on vilifying the 45th President of the United States, and that isn’t likely to change until the committee is disbanded.

The Republican Party is a bit nervous too, at least some of them.  Trump carries a bulk of the GOP under his banner, but there are moderates out there pushing back, and hard, against the idea that Trump should be the face of the party.

In Arizona this weekend, Trump appeared to give us all a preview of what’s to come.

He didn’t announce whether he would launch another campaign for the presidency, but former President Donald Trump pledged at his first rally of 2022 that come 2024, “we are going to take back the White House.”

And speaking in front of a sea of supporters gathered at the Country Thunder festival grounds in Florence, Arizona, Trump delivered what sounded like his first stump speech of a possible 2024 campaign.

Trump repeatedly took aim at President Biden, who defeated him in the 2020 presidential election. Trump deemed his successor in the White House “incompetent” and blasted Biden on a wide range of issues, including the coronavirus pandemic, the economy, foreign policy and crime.

It has long been understood that any official announcement from Trump would likely come after the 2022 midterms, as to not provide the liberal left with any large targets for the Democrats to seize upon in their campaigns.
