Vice Prez Says January 6th Compares to Pearl Harbor and September 11th

The following article, Vice Prez Says January 6th Compares to Pearl Harbor and September 11th, was first published on Flag And Cross.

Today, as our nation looks back a year to remember the events of January 6th, the battle for the lasting narrative of the event is still a very bitter one.

So bitter, in fact, that Senator Ted Cruz found himself at the end of a severe tongue-lashing by Tucker Carlson after the Lone Star State lawmaker used the phrase “terrorist attack” to describe the riot.  This idea runs contrary to the dialogue that most of the Republican Party is pushing – that the event itself has been blown out of proportion by the liberal left, who are using the imagery of that day to scare Americans out of voting for anyone aligned with Donald Trump, MAGA, or conservatism in general.

On the other side of the aisle, however, the story is much, much different.

One year after the riot of Jan. 6, 2021, Vice President Kamala Harris stated that the date will live on in the country’s memory, likening it to the dates of the Pearl Harbor attack and the 9/11 terror attacks.

In an address delivered as part of a commemoration of the anniversary of the protest in which demonstrators entered the Capitol building, interrupting the counting of electoral votes, Harris included Jan. 6 as one of three dark days in American history.

“Certain dates echo throughout history,” Harris said. “Including dates that instantly remind all who have lived them where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault. Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendar but a place in our collective memory. Dec. 7, 1941, Sept. 11, 2001, and Jan. 6, 2021.”

The comparisons drew criticism and eye-rolling from many, particularly after having watched President Joe Biden lash out in a manufactured rage earlier in the day.

The left has hyped up the 6 January riot at the Capitol as an “insurrection” and the deadliest attack on America since the (misnamed) Civil War. Apparently they are incapable (or unwilling) to distinguish between a minor riot and a deadly attack. ‘They have conveniently forgotten that a group of Puerto Rican nationalists attacked the United States Capitol on 1 March 1954. Four Puerto Rican nationalists wanting Puerto Rico’s independence from US rule shot 30 rounds from semi-automatic pistols from the Ladies’ Gallery (a balcony for visitors) of the House of Representatives chamber in the United States Capitol. Five representatives… Read more »

There is no unit of measure for the low level Democrats and others will go to in an effort to destroy America. It appears they are well on their way, I see no peaceful way out of this now, it’s become to deeply ingrained. Mainly thanks to what’s left of our education system, Hollyweird, the media and citizens that let them get away with it.
