The American political divide is becoming a wild and scary place of late, as the two sides of this false dichotomy of division continue to repulse one another and expound on those feelings through the mainstream media.
This is as ugly a time as our nation has ever seen, and the tension is being fueled in large part by Silicon Valley’s continued censorship of conservative voices: A trend that has not only allowed the liberal side of the aisle to dominate the social media landscape, but has also left conservatives unable to defend themselves.
Never one to miss a sucker-punch opportunity, California Democrat Maxine Waters has now taken aim at Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene after the latter was unceremoniously banned from Twitter.
During a recent appearance on MSNBC:
“Let me just say this — when you talk about Congresswoman Greene, you’re talking about the kind of extremist radical that is now in the House of Representatives who is basically, you know, dangerous,” Waters outlined on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation.” “She is dangerous because she doesn’t believe in the Constitution herself. She has been threatening, you know, other members of Congress. They have been all over and in the face of AOC out of New York, following her around, trying to intimidate her.”
And, as if that wasn’t enough:
“She does not believe that the children that got killed in school by, you know, a murderer who invaded their school. It actually happened. She denies it,” the congresswoman continued. “And so, this woman is not only radical — I think that she does not have good sense, period. She has no business in the House of Representatives. She loves guns. She wanted to bring her gun into the House of Representatives, and I think if she stays around, she’s going to create some really difficult problems for us who are trying to serve in the House.”
Waters is no stranger to extremist language herself, having notoriously suggested to a crowd of supporters that they should seek out confrontation with members of the GOP in public places and make sure that they feel “unwelcome”.
