The following article, Woman’s March Attacks Members Who Use ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Costumes at Protests, was first published on Flag And Cross.
The new managers of the leftist Women’s March are suddenly warning that members should not attend protests dressed in the red robes made famous by the dystopian, anti-Christian women’s novel, The Handmaid’s Tale.
Because, raaaacism.
The organization made famous in January of 2017 when tens of thousands of women converged on Washington D.C. to protest against… whatever is in vogue this week… are now turning against one of their members’ most favorite symbols.
You may be familiar with the symbol made famous by the 1985 Margaret Atwood novel, The Handmaid’s Tale, in which the women imprisoned by religious fanatics were forced to wear red robes and white coifs.
On Saturday, the group put out a tweet to tell members what to wear to protests. The recommendations included “comfy shoes,” a mask, and hand sanitizer. However, they also had a tweet telling members what not to war.
Please don't bring:
Coat hanger imagery
"Handmaid's Tale" outfits
Weapons
Why the first two? Head to our next tweets

So, why is the organization suddenly dumping one of the left’s favorite symbols?
You guessed it… raaaacism.
“Handmaid’s Tale imagery has proliferated, primarily by white women, in recent years,” the group explained in another tweet. “This message erases the fact that Black, undocumented, incarcerated, poor, & disabled women have always had their reproduction controlled in America. It’s not some dystopian future or past.”

Yep. Everything is racist.
Even leftists can’t escape being called racists by their own people.
