This is little doubt that the Democrats are in big trouble in 2022, (and 2024, by default), and there is little hope left of bringing a unified party into the electoral cycle.
This is an organization split down the seams, with the far left pushing their inane, progressive talking points to a degree that is simply unsustainable within the current climate.
Of course, having a pseudo-moderate in the White House hasn’t helped, and the party’s more vocal talking heads have been unable to reconcile Biden’s actions with his ethos.
Now, as the election mechanisms begin to fire up once again, the President is working overtime.
Facing growing unrest in the Democrat party, President Joe Biden plans to host meetings at the White House on Wednesday to save his $5 trillion domestic spending agenda.
First, Biden will meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to discuss his $1.5 trillion infrastructure deal that has passed the Senate, his partisan $3.5 trillion climate and entitlement bill, and a continuing resolution to raise the debt limit and fund the government.
His trouble continues, however.
On Tuesday, leftists again stirred the pot by warning they would not vote for a continuing resolution to fund the government and raise the debt if it included funds for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.
The list of disparities is piling up, and these issues will undoubtedly become ammunition for the GOP as 2022 rolls around.
