On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to put an immediate halt to a new Texas abortion law, but liberals spent the whole day misleading their supporters about the Court’s ruling.

In a small victory for the pro-life movement, the high court posted a 5-4 ruling refusing to halt a new Texas law limiting abortion and banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.

“Signed in May by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), Senate Bill 8 effectively bans abortions in the Lone Star State the moment a fetal heartbeat is detected, which often occurs after six weeks of pregnancy. Since women do not often detect pregnancy prior to the sixth week, the law effectively bans abortions in the state. Multiple states have tried to implement similar measures only to be blocked by the courts,” Breitbart News reported.

The leftists who brought the case to the nation’s highest court wanted the SCOTUS to immediately put a halt to the Texas heartbeat law claiming that they were harmed by it.

But the court disagreed that the liberals bringing the suit were being unduly harmed by the implementation of the law. So, the SCOTUS threw out the request to stop the law.

“The applicants now before us have raised serious questions regarding the constitutionality of the Texas law at issue,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in dissent. “But their application also presents complex and novel antecedent procedural questions on which they have not carried their burden.”

The ruling, though, did nothing about the Texas law itself. All it did was deny the leftist’s request to put an instant halt to the implementation of the law.

And all day, liberals lied about what the SCOTUS ruling was all about. The leftists insisted that the ruling “ended Roe v Wade and destroyed abortion.

For instance, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lied outright that Republicans ended abortion in America:

Republicans promised to overturn Roe v Wade, and they have.

Democrats can either abolish the filibuster and expand the court, or do nothing as millions of peoples’ bodies, rights, and lives are sacrificed for far-right minority rule.

Again, the SCOTUS ruling this week had absolutely nothing to do with Roe v. Wade. All it did was deny the leftist’s demand to end the law now.

In the meantime, liberals are contesting the law in court and this week’s SCOTUS ruling didn’t have any impact on them.
