Americans are beginning to turn against Joe Biden as his failures in Afghanistan mount and now a poll finds that majority of likely voters disapprove of his actions.
A new Trafalgar Group survey finds that 59.5 percent of likely voters strongly disapprove of Biden’s handling of military operations in Afghanistan. The results also found that 9.8 percent disapprove of Biden’s policies, while only 12.4 percent approve, 10.7 percent strongly approve.
This means a combined 69.3 percent either disapprove or strongly disapprove of Biden’s Afghanistan policies.
Naturally, Biden’s numbers were even worse when the poll asked only Republicans. 80 percent strongly disapproved of his actions and another 8.8 percent merely disapproved.
But Biden also did poor among members of his own party. 36.9 percent of Democrats strongly disapprove of his actions and 11.3 percent merely disapprove. That is a combined 48 percent who are not onboard with Biden’s actions in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, only 16.9 percent strongly approve of Biden’s actions and 22.9 percent approve.
“Of the 10.7% of people who said ‘strongly approve,’ 13.3% are GOP, 24.8% are NO PARTY/OTHER, and 61.9% are DEMOCRAT,” Chief pollster of the Trafalgar Group Robert C. Cahaly tweeted. “For perspective only 4% of all Republicans, 10.6% of all No party, and 16.9% of all Democrats answered ‘strongly approve”

The poll was conducted from Aug. 14-15, with interviews with 1084 respondents. The poll has a margin of error of 2.98%.
The Trafalgar poll is not the only one to find that Biden is losing support. According to The Hill, a Morning Consult and Politico poll conducted between August 13 and 16 found that 49 percent of Americans support Biden’s moves in Afghanistan. But this is down from the 69 percent that approved of Biden’s efforts in April.
The poll also found that only 25 percent felt that the pullout in Afghanistan is going well. And support among independents dropped from 66 percent to 41 percent.
