Trump Speech Gets Added Disclaimer on Fox News Channel

The following article, Trump Speech Gets Added Disclaimer on Fox News Channel, was first published on Flag And Cross.

As Donald Trump continues to maintain the top spot among Republican hopefuls for 2024, there are increasing efforts to thwart the former President’s future political ambitions.  These include investigations in Manhattan, the dueling January 6th probes, and the threat of lawsuits from companies like Dominion Voting Systems.

This has all led us to a strange situation, in which the former Commander in Chief’s speech from CPAC was decorated by a disclaimer on the Fox News network.

Fox News on Sunday aired a disclaimer adding context to comments made by former President Trump referencing electoral fraud during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

“And now, it’s also because I got more votes, 75 million, than anybody in the history of the presidency, and far more than Clinton, far more than Obama, and a record 12 million more than 2016,” Trump said of what he has continued to describe as an effort to “rig” the election against him. “Think of it, in the history usually they go down a little bit second term and they win, but they go down a little bit.”

As Trump continued to make misleading or false claims about the result of the election, Fox News, which was carrying the former president’s speech live, replaced its chyron with a disclaimer.

“Voting system companies have denied the various allegations made by President Trump and his counsel regarding the 2020 election,” the disclaimer read.

Several of Trump’s former acquaintances are currently being sued by Dominion Voting Systems over claims made during the aftermath of the 2020 election, many of which seemed to insinuate that the ballot-counting company was helping to “rig” the contest.

Your biased panties are showing here, Andrew. You obviously are a “Never-Trumper”, since even many Democrats are admitting there is proof of voting irregularities and outright fraud. Whether or not “several of Trump’s former acquaintances are being sued by Dominion Voting Systems” has nothing to do with the veracity of Trump’s statements. But it IS the kind of attempted media distraction we are used to seeing on CNN and elsewhere. Too bad you can’t seem to do any better than them.

I watched CPAC all day Sunday on America Voice News, Roku 240. They did not pull out or offer adverse opinions. Cool!

Adding up the ‘reported’ millions of votes President Trump received & the millions of votes counted for biden & the votes received by the independents on the ballots; how does the totals add up against the total number of registered voters in the country? Don’t recall ever seeing that. If more than 100% of the number of registered voters, sounds like voter fraud involved.
