Biden Approval Rating Craters as Radical Agenda Takes Hold

Joe Biden

The following article, Biden Approval Rating Craters as Radical Agenda Takes Hold, was first published on Flag And Cross.

The numbers are in, but Sleepy Joe isn’t going to like it.

The Biden presidency was advertised to the nation as a return to normalcy; as some sort of middle road between The Don and The Squad.  It was supposed to be a nice, boring presidency that allowed us to step away from the mainstream media long enough to take a breath after the tumultuous last year and a half.

We soon learned that we had been duped.  We were the victims of a bait-and-switch.  Instead of a moderate, pragmatic approach to immigration, we have the Vice President saying that “climate change” is the key to fixing a humanitarian crisis on the southern border.  Instead of a return to the status quo, we received a flurry of executive orders meant to erase “the previous guy” and a great deal of his progress.

The voters have caught on to this switcheroo, however, and the latest polling proves it.

The numbers show Biden’s approval rating stands at 48 percent, compared with 54 percent just two months ago. Forty-three percent currently disapprove of the job he’s doing, compared with 41 percent in April.

”Biden’s rating is still in net positive territory, but it seems to have taken a dip with the growing uncertainty that his signature spending plans will be enacted,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute, which conducted the poll.

More than seven in 10 Americans have inflation concerns, according to the poll. Forty-seven percent of those questioned said they’re very concerned the Biden plans will lead to spiraling inflation with 24 percent saying they’re somewhat concerned.

Those who said they were at least somewhat worried included 93 percent of Republicans, 70 percent of Independents and even 55 percent of Democrats.

With these numbers trending so swiftly downward, the Democrats may need to rethink some of their strategy heading into 2022 and 2024.
