A brand new poll is providing President Trump with some much needed good news during the difficult times he and the administration have been facing in light of violent protests, riots, and looting that have erupted all over America thanks to the death of George Floyd.
It seems the president’s approval rating is holding pretty steady despite all of the chaos going on, which could be a good sign for Trump’s reelection campaign efforts.
All of this despite many voters thinking the country is currently raging out of hand.
The voters involved in this survey had data collected from them before the release of Friday’s positive job numbers, which showed a clear decrease in the unemployment rate and the addition of 2.5 million jobs in the month of May.

In an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday, Trump’s job approval among registered voters stands at 45%, just a 1-point drop from April’s survey. While 53% disapproved of the work the president is doing, 31% said they strongly approved.
Protests have occurred nationwide following the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police, with demonstrators calling for police reforms.
The poll found 59% of voters more concerned about police actions toward the protesters compared to 27% who said they were more concerned about the violent protests.
In the middle of the unrest, Trump has made repeated calls for military force to be unleashed as a means of suppressing the chaos, a move that earned him some sharp rebukes from military leaders who have formerly served in the president’s cabinet.
The poll surveyed 1,000 registered voters between May 28 to June 2. The margin of error being plus or minus 3.1 percent.
