The following article, America Accepted Less Refugees Than Rest of the World In 2017 & 2018 (Details), was first published on Flag And Cross.

After decades of being on top, America wasn’t number one in 2017 or 2018. Don’t worry, though. It’s actually a good thing. No more messing around under President Trump. The United States simply does not need more refugees. That’s just the hard truth, whether Democrats can accept it or not.

LOOK:

The U.S. trailed the rest of the world in refugee resettlement in 2017 and 2018, after leading it for decades

Reactions:

Why was one country leading “all other countries” in refugee resettlement? We were doing more than our fair share.

Looks like “all other countries” are finally doing their fair share!

So the US was taking in more refugees than all of the rest of the world combined?

This is great news. We are full. Time for other nations to pull their weight.

What kind of nonsense is this? “The US no longer resettles as many immigrants as the rest of the world combined” is somehow noteworthy?

Better have the UN issue another travel warning, sounds like a real problem

I would hope that ALL OTHER COUNTRIES COMBINED would take in more refugees than the USA alone.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Lol – we are compared to all other countries combined?

Imagine making the point that an athletic team is having a poor year because it has less wins than all the other teams in the league.

So we have been take in more people than the ENTIRE REST OF THE WORLD COMBINED? That isn’t trailing.
