The following article, IT BEGINS: San Francisco Rebrands ‘Convicted Felons’ As ‘Justice-Involved Individuals’ (Details), was first published on Flag And Cross.
The best thing about liberals is that they are always good for a laugh.
The sad part is that 11 times out of 10 they don’t know they’re the butt of the joke.
What San Franciso just did in the name of “liberal activism,” if you will, is not only hilarious and ridiculous but downright absurd.
LOOK:
San Francisco has introduced new sanitized language for criminals, getting rid of words such as “offender” and “addict” while changing “convicted felon” to “justice-involved person.” The goal is to change people’s views about those who commit crimes.

More from Fox11 LA:
San Francisco has introduced new sanitized language for criminals, getting rid of words such as “offender” and “addict” while changing “convicted felon” to “justice-involved person.”
The Board of Supervisors adopted the changes last month even as the city reels from one of the highest crime rates in the country and staggering inequality exemplified by pervasive homelessness alongside Silicon Valley wealth.
[…]
A juvenile “delinquent” will now be called a “young person with justice system involvement,” or a “young person impacted by the juvenile justice system.”
And drug addicts or substance abusers, meanwhile, will become “a person with a history of substance use.”
San Francisco, you’re entitled to stealing money from residents of your city via taxes but you’re not entitled to your own facts.
SMH.

Yes, let’s just ignore:
• brutal tax rates
• median rent of $3,720/mo
• human feces on the street
• free syringes to shoot heroin
• homelessness
Because, clearly San Francisco’s most pressing issue is not hurting the feelings of convicted violent criminals.

LMAO they are still criminals. Did they change the term sex offender to something less “offensive” too?

I am sure most of the people in San Fran will not follow suit. I also know that he sane part of the country will not follow suit. Change names all you want, but it does not change the facts. A criminal is a criminal. I will NOT use sanitized words to describe them and downplay their sinful behavior. Just like I never use the word ‘gay’ to describe homosexuals or lesbians as I call a spade a spade. I also hate that the word ‘gay’ has been hi-jacked to mean homosexual instead of happy. I also refuse to use… Read more »
