The following article, FLASHBACK: Ilhan Omar Hits Rock Bottom, Says President Trump Is NOT Human (Details), was first published on Flag And Cross.
When you’re attempting to finagle your way out of a few scandals, what do you do?
Do you try to explain that you’re not a bad person, or do you say something even crazier to make the public think of something else?
It’s called a diversion tactic.
Freshman Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar is still learning.
From Daily Wire:
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) made dehumanizing remarks about President Donald Trump on Monday when asked about an interview she gave last week, saying that the president was not human.
Fox News’ Guerin Hays asked Omar, who has been engulfed in an anti-Semitism scandal, about an interview she gave to Politico last week where she attacked former President Barack Obama and suggested that he was a murderer.
Omar came out after the interview was published and claimed that Politico was lying about the interview and that she did not make those comments. Omar tweeted an audio clip of that segment of the interview that she thought exonerated her but it ended up proving that she did say it. After being mocked online she deleted the tweet.
House Democrats are working on a resolution to condemn Omar for her anti-Semitic remarks. And there are plenty of them over the years.
Here are the details…
From Daily Wire:
Democratic leadership in the House, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), say they’re planning on introducing legislation later this week that would condemn anti-Semitism, though it’s not immediately clear whether Democrats plan to condemn Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) specifically for her recent anti-Semitic remarks.
Politico reports that Democratic leaders have been hard at work since last week trying to figure out a way to openly criticize remarks made by Omar — at an event last week in Washington, D.C. — and by others who have adopted centuries old anti-Semitic tropes, like the “dual loyalty” smear, to critique their colleagues.
Omar leveled that exact criticism last week during a speech at D.C. restaurant Busboys & Poets, drawing swift and deep condemnation from top Democrats, including her boss on the Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), who demanded Omar apologize for her “vile” remarks, including that some of her Congressional colleagues were pledging their “allegiance to a foreign country” — Israel.
But there’s something a little…off.
You see, Omar’s name is not once mentioned in the legislation.
A draft of the resolution condemning anti-Semitism does NOT specifically mention Rep Ilhan Omar by name but it does spell out remarks she has said regarding Israel.

Also key: the resolution notes that "accusations of dual loyalty have an insidious, bigoted history, including … the post 9/11 conditions faced by Muslim-Americans in the United States, including unfounded, vicious attacks on and threats to Muslim-American Members of Congress" https://t.co/E7Gy7KnKre

Freshman Congresswomen Omar (D-MN) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) joined Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in a video put out by Rolling Stone.
The trio says a whole lot while literally saying nothing.
Pelosi even went as far as to demand President Trump not seek re-election in 2020.
You know, because a booming economy and all-time low minority unemployment is apparently a bad thing.
Pelosi: “If I had to say something to Trump, I probably wouldn’t say anything, because I don’t think that it’s worth the extra attention.”
She added, “Mr. President, do the country a favor, don’t run.”
Omar represents Minnesota’s fifth district.
A new report claims it is the “terrorist recruitment capital” of the United States of America.
