The following article, FLASHBACK: Climate Activist Glues Her Breasts to the Street to Protest ‘Global Warming’ (PHOTOS), was first published on Flag And Cross.
There is such a thing as bringing awareness to something, then there’s making a complete and utter fool of yourself.
A woman who glued her breasts to the street in the name of “global warming” certainly fits in the latter category.
Here’s your liberal-does-something-weird story for the day…
From The Sun:
The protester who glued her breasts to the road outside the Goldman Sachs office in Fleet Street was eventually removed from the floor and led away by cops.
Just before 7am this morning two men and five women dressed in black suits, red ties and visors glued themselves in a chain to a wall and to each other at the Stock Exchange.
They wore LED signs saying “climate emergency”, “tell the truth” and “you can’t eat money”.
A financial worker noted of the protest, “It’s annoying. I want to earn a living and I need to make sure that I do. I need to live on the planet too.”

Have you ever thought about dimming the sun?
Seems like a great idea, huh? LOL.
According to CNN, it actually is!
Harvard and Yale scientists are proposing that we tackle climate change by dimming the sun.
It sounds crazy, but according to their research, it could actually cut the rate of global warming in half: https://t.co/Ty8cCK3J5j

The study specifically says, "We make no judgment about the desirability…." It's an examination of the costs and technical feasibility, not a proposal. https://t.co/e9WATiNt20

Nowhere in the study do they weigh in on what dimming the sun would do to agriculture and aquatic life (since ocean plants are of critical importance and a less bright sun would impact the depths at which plant life could grow).
The potential drawbacks should be in the article. https://t.co/MSyEkV0qBu

"spraying sun-dimming chemicals into the Earth's atmosphere"
haven't we been doing this since the industrial revolution? https://t.co/9gECejesMB

Whenever I see a story that invokes Ivy League scientists finding a solution to anything, I brace myself for the worst idea ever. Once again, they didn't disappoint. https://t.co/jPP1ujXNav

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) needs everyone to know that “people are going to die” if something isn’t done about climate change.
From The Hill:
Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) called on the U.S. to act “urgent[ly]” after a report from the federal government found that climate change is expected to have an enormous impact on the country in the near future.
People are going to die if we don’t start addressing climate change ASAP.
It’s not enough to think it’s “important.” We must make it urgent.
That’s why we need a Select Committee on a Green New Deal, & why fossil fuel-funded officials shouldn’t be writing climate change policy. https://t.co/bn6NloGlaY

Maybe Alexandria didn’t get the message that large outfits often falsify their data to make it seem as if things are worse than they are?
Ugh. It’s going to be a long two years covering this gaffe-prone individual.
Alexandria is apparently looking for attention, sending what was clearly a bold-faced lie on Twitter.
People keep giving me directions to the spouse and intern events instead of the ones for members of Congress

What’s the problem?
