The following article, CNN’s Jim Acosta Blatantly LIES About Trump’s Charlottesville Comments, Gets Called Out HARD, was first published on Flag And Cross.

Of the many things Donald Trump has become known for since becoming president, his Charlottesville comments are at the top of the list.

On Friday, POTUS defended his remarks from 2017.

What else would you expect? Trump never backs down.

WATCH:

Here are Trump’s actual words:

Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.

I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.

Enter CNN’s Jim Acosta, who got torched for lying about what 45 really said:

Trump defends his “very fine people” comments on Charlottesville: “People were there protesting the taking down of the monument of Robert E. Lee. Everybody knows that.” Fact check: There were many neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

Reactions:

Fact check this:

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.”

That’s what @realDonaldTrump said that day and you were standing 10 feet away from him.

You do your network proud. @cnn

Incorrect.
Trump specifically said he was not talking about neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
Direct quote from transcript: “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists. They should be condemned totally.”

Fact check: Trump said explicitly “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

Yellow Journalism
• Trump openly condemned the neo-Nazis & white supremacists
• called them “criminals and thugs”
• said “racism is evil”
• said those responsible would be “held fully accountable”

This is brazen revision of history that would make the Katyn murderers proud.

Kellyanne Conway is the first female campaign manager to be victorious in a presidential election.

If she were a liberal, Conway would be deemed a hero by the left.

During a January presser with the media, Kellyanne ripped into CNN’s Jim Acosta for being a “smart ass.”

She wasn’t wrong.

The Democrat Party activist Acosta wanted to know if President Trump was going to “tell the truth” in his Tuesday night address to the nation.

From Fox News:

Acosta asked Conway if she could promise that President Trump would tell the truth when addressing the nation on Tuesday night.

[…]

Acosta – who has emerged as a household name for interruptions when Trump and members of his administration are made available to the press – responded by telling Conway that he doesn’t have an “alternative facts” problem like she does.

Conway: “Make sure that goes viral. This is why I’m one of the only people around here who gives you the time of day. You’re such a smarta– most of the time and I know you want this to go viral.

WATCH:

It’s hard to forget Acosta’s White House outburst.

It is certainly something for which he’ll always be remembered – and that may have been the point.
