Former Vice President Joe Biden is in.
After all this time of thinking about it, Joe is finally prepared to declare a bid for the presidency.
It looks like Thursday is the day he has planned to make the announcement.
Here’s what’s up, via NBC News:
Former Vice President Joe Biden will announce his presidential bid Thursday morning with an online video, two sources close to Biden with direct knowledge of the planning confirmed to NBC News.
Biden will then appear in Pittsburgh on Monday for an event at a local union hall, NBC News has learned. Biden will then embark on a tour of the four early voting states — Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada — in the following weeks.
The former vice president finds himself atop of many early primary polls. The RealClearPolitics polling average has him at just above 29 percent, with Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders in second place at about 22 percent.

According to Biden, the United States is “an embarrassment.”

Hasn’t anyone told Joe that the economy is thriving, there’s no risk of nuclear war with North Korea, and that minority unemployment is at record lows?
That’s allllll because of President Trump and Republican policies, Joe.
Barack Obama’s VP sure seems to want to run for president against Donald Trump in 2020. He just hasn’t made it completely official yet.
According to Biden, though, he’s the “most qualified person in the country to be president.”
