ICYMI: Pence Wrecks Eric Holder for Implying America Not Great, & He Didn’t Use One Word

Vice President Mike Pence has President Trump’s back on every single occasion.

That’s what made him the best choice possible when candidate Trump was choosing a VP running mate.

Now, Pence wrecked Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder for implying America was never great – and he didn’t even need one word to do it.

No joke.

Not one word.

From Free Beacon:

Former attorney general Eric Holder said that America has never been “great,” during a Wednesday night appearance on MSNBC’s The Beat.

Holder’s comment came in response to a question from host Ari Melber about how it was possible to call America a “leader as a democracy” during the 1800s when women and African-Americans could not vote.

“When I hear these things about ‘Let’s make America great again,’ I think to myself: ‘Exactly when did you think America was great?'” Holder said, in reference to the President Donald Trump’s slogan, which he used frequently at rallies and on merchandising during the 2016 presidential election.

It took one tweet from Pence to rip Holder to shreds.

From Daily Wire:

On Thursday, the vice president fired back at Eric Holder on Twitter by posting photos of Martin Luther King Jr., the moon landing, the planting of the flag at Iwo Jima, and, of course, George Washington crossing the Delaware.

Holder then shot back, reversing his position entirely:

In response to the vice president, Holder got a bit more nuanced by saying America IS great and must continue being greater. “America IS great. And can-and must-be greater still,” wrote Holder on Twitter. “‘Make America great again’ means YOU think America is not great now-and is backward looking. America is at its best when we look forward, embrace an uncertain future and make it ours. That is what defines American greatness.”

Eric wants to do away with the “undemocratic” electoral college.

He tweeted:

A good reform measure to support. Change the Electoral College by having a state’s electoral votes go to the national popular vote winner – not the person who won the state. The candidate who gets the most votes – nationally – is elected. Real democracy.

It’s hard to forget about his role in Operation Fast and Furious.
