According to a top House Democrat, former Vice President Joe Biden is running for president.
Here’s the scoop…
A senior House Democrat said that former Vice President Joe Biden will run for president, according to a report released Tuesday.
Biden reportedly called the House lawmaker and asked if he could discuss campaign strategy with the congressman and invited the member to sit down with him shortly. The former vice president also asked the lawmaker for his support, which the member did not say he could give at this time.
And there you go.
President Trump will most likely go toe-to-toe with either Biden or self-described Democrat Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Nobody else running on the Dem side stands a chance.
Biden decided to head to Germany to bash America because apparently doing so on U.S. soil just isn’t enough.
According to Biden, the United States is “an embarrassment.”
From Washington Examiner:
Speaking on German soil 75 years after the U.S. and its allies prepared for D-Day, Joe Biden described America as “an embarrassment” and its trade policies “self-defeating.”
“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border. Americans know that’s not right,” the former vice president and potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate told the Munich Security Conference. “The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly, that it is not right. That it is not who we are.”
Biden, 76, speaking at the annual gathering of foreign policy leaders, didn’t mention Trump by name. But, despite a longstanding tradition of politics “stopping at the water’s edge” and refraining from criticizing a commander-in-chief while on foreign soil, Biden took the opportunity to blast him, even veering into criticism of domestic policy as he launched into what sounded like a stump speech.

Hasn’t anyone told Joe that the economy is thriving, there’s no risk of nuclear war with North Korea, and that minority unemployment is at record lows?
That’s allllll because of President Trump and Republican policies, Joe.
Barack Obama’s VP sure seems to want to run for president against Donald Trump in 2020. He just hasn’t made it completely official yet.
According to Biden, though, he’s the “most qualified person in the country to be president.”
From Fox News:
Former Vice President Joe Biden said he would decide if he’s running for president in 2020 soon. But in the meantime, he’s confident he is up for the job.
Biden: “I think I’m the most qualified person in the country to be president. The issues that we face as a country today are the issues that I’ve worked on my whole life.“
