COME AGAIN? Ocasio-Cortez Now Wants to Control Hamburger Consumption (Watch)

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can’t seem to help herself. She is so far-left at this point that she can’t see straight.

Case in point: she’s now pretty much talking about hamburger regulation.

Yeah, for real.

During an appearance on Showtime’s Desus & Mero, she said, “In the deal, what we talk about — and it’s true, is that we need to take a look at factory farming, you know? Period. It’s wild. And so it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re gonna force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that. But it’s to say, ‘Listen, we gotta address factory farming.

She noted: “Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Democrats are generally loving AOC’s plan. Conservatives on Twitter took notice, with one person saying “Donald Trump just won 2020.”

Fox News has more:

The Green New Deal nonbinding congressional resolution unveiled by Democratic lawmakers Thursday calls for economically destructive and environmentally toxic extremist policies that would be an utter disaster for our country and the American people.

The radical and impractical plan could suck trillions of dollars out of our economy, raise costs of much of what we buy, wipe out millions of jobs and plunge our country into a recession or perhaps even a depression. It would be a self-inflicted wound causing enormous harm to us all.

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., released the proposal, elements of which have already drawn support from some congressional Democrats, including several seeking their party’s presidential nomination.

More on the “Green New Deal,” via Daily Caller:

Democrats are increasingly lining up to support a “Green New Deal,” which, while vague on details, could end up being the largest expansion of government in decades.

Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal” calls for creating a House committee to draft legislation to fight global warming and turn the U.S. economy into something akin to what Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders envisions. Indeed, the “Green New Deal” could be a preview of what policies the Democratic Party will back in the 2020 elections.

On top of that, the non-energy-related portions of the Green New Deal could cost trillions more, including universal health care and guaranteed income.

Oy vey!
