WATCH: Pelosi Talks About Favorite Bible Quote, Admits She ‘Can’t Find It In the Bible’

Speaker Nancy Pelosi claims to be Catholic.

Of course, being Catholic and pro-choice don’t exactly vibe so that’s kind of a major issue.

During a recent speech, the California Democrat recited her favorite Biblical quote.

She then admitted she couldn’t “find it in the Bible.”

HUH?

She said, “I believe, as many of us do — certainly in this room — that we’re all God’s children. There’s a spark of divinity that exists inside of each of us. Our immigrants, at the border, in each of us, including ourselves.

And we have an obligation to treat people with respect, but we have a responsibility with that spark of our own to act upon it.

When people talk about the Gospel of Matthew as being an inspiration to so many of us — When I was hungry you fed me, when I was naked, you clothed me, when I was homeless, you sheltered me, when I was in prison, you visited me — I always want to remind them that the rest of that gospel is the converse.

When I was hungry, you didn’t feed me. See, because at that day, God separates the — people.

When I was hungry, you fed me. When I was hungry, you didn’t feed me.

And I can’t find it in the Bible, but I use— I quote it all the time. I keep reading and reading the Bible, I know it’s there someplace, it’s supposed to be in Isaiah.

But I heard a bishop say, to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship — to ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.

It’s there somewhere in some words or another, but certainly the spirit of it is there.

President Trump has covered all his bases with four tweets the speaker may want to read:

More from Trump:

Pelosi is not comfortable in the public eye, as funny as that may sound. She constantly stutters and jumbles her words.

During a recent presser, Pelosi proposed a solution to the border crisis.

Who needs a wall or more traditional forms of security when you can have “electronic dogs?”

Pelosi doesn’t speak so goodly.

We um…As you are aware, uh, we have— we are diligent, diligent and persistent…

We you want to detect drugs, as we all do, then there is, uh, uh, uh— technology that can scan…

…Beef up the ports of entry to do that, but there’s no reason, the wall in my view is an immorality.

Here’s more of Pelosi stuttering from not long ago…

Pelosi: “And they’re here now, in what is one of the most tranformative, new members of— body of members of Congress.

Pelosi: “We will— we will win 40, uh, we will win 4— we will have, take, win 40 seats.

Pelosi: “The Special Counsel cannot be fired without cause. He, he or she would be granted a three-judge appeal panel if fired, uh, could only be removed by a Senate-confirmed AG— replaced by a Se— uh, Senate-confirmed Attorney General.”

Did you know America has three coasts?

Pelosi has apparently just clued the rest of us in on a monumental secret.

The next Speaker of the House struggled with U.S. geography on Thursday as she once again announced her opposition to a wall along the border with Mexico.

We, most of us, speaking for myself, consider the wall immoral, ineffective and expensive, and the President said – he promised – he also promised Mexico would pay for it.

So even if they did, it’s immoral still, and then they’re not going to pay for it. So that isn’t how I would interpret a congressional – a continuing resolution.

[…]

We have a responsibility, all of us, to secure our borders, North, South, and coming in by plane on our coasts, three coasts–North, South and West–and that’s the responsibility we honor. But we do so by honoring our values as well.
